Michigan State University is proud to announce the 2009 Help Tackle Hunger Food Drive, scheduled to take place through November 21!
Help make the 2009 Food Drive a big Spartan win by donating non-perishable food and personal care items(PDF) for the MSU Student Food Bank and the Greater Lansing Food Bank. Food bank shelves continue to run dangerously low on supplies, and in our struggling economy, more and more families in our community are in need of this valuable assistance.
Collections will be held at various campus locations, including all residence hall service centers, the MSU Union, Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center, Spartan Village Community Center and University Village Community Center.
On game day Saturday, November 21 (MSU vs. Penn State) , contributions may be brought to marked collection points near Spartan Stadium and in popular tailgating lot 89 and Munn Field. Monetary donations will also be accepted at all Sparty’s, the Union Central Store and the Spartan Spirit Shop at the MSU Union and the Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center Gift Shop during the collection period and in Spartan Stadium on game day.
Donations collected before November 21 will be given to the MSU Student Food Bank. Game day collections will be given to the Greater Lansing Food Bank.
